Two milestones are the 40th anniversary of the 1977 album Changes In Latitudes, Changes In Attitudes, which featured the debut of “Margaritaville,” and Son Of A Son Of A Sailor, released in 1978, marking the record’s 40th anniversary. The original Broadway cast recording of the musical was released, and the musical went on the road in October, 2019. It opened on Broadway in New York at the Marquis Theatre. The long-awaited Margaritaville musical, “Escape to Margaritaville,” had its world premiere in La Jolla, California, and made pre-Broadway stops in New Orleans, Houston and Chicago.
